iDEAL payments are now available for Adyen Business Accounts
Business Account users in the Netherlands can now pay with iDEAL using their Adyen-issued bank account. This update strengthens the Embedded Financial Products offering by enabling access to the country’s most widely used online payment method directly within the banking experience provided by your platform.

iDEAL accounts for the majority of ecommerce payments in the Netherlands, making it an important capability for businesses operating locally. With this launch, your users can benefit from a familiar and trusted payment method while managing payments directly from their Adyen Business Account. This helps create a more complete digital banking experience and supports higher payment conversion.
What your platform needs to do
This feature is available for submerchants using Adyen Business Accounts on Embedded Financial Products in the Netherlands. To support mobile iDEAL payments, your app must support the QR code reader and payment confirmation flow. Multi-factor authentication is required for all iDEAL payments.
