We’ve integrated SurePay Verification of Payee (VoP) directly into the bank account step of our automated KYC onboarding workflow. This allows you to verify a bank account in real time by validating the IBAN and account holder name during onboarding. If the details match, the bank account is verified instantly and the user can complete the step without uploading additional bank documents.

Faster onboarding with fewer manual checks

If the bank account details do not match, users can correct the information and retry verification or upload supporting documentation for manual review. This approach reduces the need for manual document checks and helps your teams onboard users faster. The feature is designed for marketplaces, platforms, and PSPs onboarding users across the Eurozone.

Available automatically in your onboarding flow

Verification of Payee is already live in the Eurozone and is enabled automatically as part of the onboarding process. No action is required to start using it. In the United Kingdom, Confirmation of Payee is already supported in the same onboarding flow. You can continue onboarding users as usual while benefiting from real-time bank account verification.
