We know battery life is one of the top concerns when it comes to Android terminals. That’s why we’ve made major improvements to the Adyen payment application, resulting in significantly longer battery performance, at least 3x longer per charge.
What’s new
From version V1_118 onward, every Android terminal running the latest firmware will benefit from these battery life enhancements. No hardware change required, just better software.
How to get it
Update your Android terminals to version V1_118 or higher to start seeing the improvements. Reach out to your Adyen contact if you need help with the update.
