Your users can now order, replace, and return payment terminals directly in Essentials. This update makes terminal management faster and simpler for them, and reduces manual work for your teams.

Empower your users to manage their own terminals
We’ve added terminal ordering capabilities to Essentials. Your users can now order new terminals, request replacements, or initiate returns directly in their Essentials environment, no need to go through your headquarters or Adyen.
A smoother process for everyone
With built-in ordering and tracking, users can handle their own terminal lifecycle from start to finish. There’s no change to what data is visible, and no functionality removed. It’s the same reliable experience, just with added flexibility for franchisees and platform users.
Get started by assigning roles
To activate these features, assign the relevant roles in the Customer Area:
Merchant terminal order role
Merchant terminal replacement role
Merchant terminal return role
Once roles are assigned, your users can immediately begin managing terminal orders, replacements, and returns within Essentials. Please note that you need the Merchant User Management role to make these changes.
