Route Apple Pay in-app transactions through eftpos to apply least cost routing and reduce payment processing costs when shoppers pay with Apple Pay.

Apple Pay in-app payments support eftpos
You can accept eftpos when shoppers pay with Apple Pay in your in-app checkout. This expands your existing Apple Pay setup to include eftpos, alongside international card schemes, without changing the shopper experience.
Least cost routing applies to Apple Pay
Previously, Apple Pay transactions were routed only through international card schemes such as Visa or Mastercard. With eftpos enabled, eligible Apple Pay transactions can follow least cost routing, helping you reduce processing costs on in-app payments.
Enable Apple Pay eftpos on your account
If you already process eftpos and Apple Pay transactions, you can request Apple Pay eftpos via the Customer Area > Settings > Payment methods > Request payment methods.
