Amsterdam, October 28, 2026 – Adyen N.V. (AMS:ADYEN) today provided a business update for the quarter ending September 30, 2026.

“Our strong execution and merchant relationships put us in a great position, and the very positive initial response from merchants to Talon. One and Orb has only added to our excitement. We see a significant opportunity ahead and are accelerating our investments across the business to capture it in full. We have high confidence in our strategic direction and in our ability to continue to outperform the market,” said Ingo Uytdehaage, co-CEO.

Q3 2026 key metrics

  • Net revenue was €738.1 million, up 23% year-over-year (“YoY”), or 22% on a constant currency basis.

  • Processed volume was €451.1 billion, up 30% YoY.

  • Digital net revenue reached €387.4 million, up 16% YoY, or 14% on a constant currency basis.

  • Platforms net revenue reached €100.2 million, up 46% YoY, or 44% on a constant currency basis.

Business highlights

  • Secured early enterprise wins with the successful ongoing integration of Talon. One and Orb.

  • Scaled new and existing partnerships with enterprise customers, including GetYourGuide, LillyDirect, Tod’s, and Toast.

  • Upgraded Authenticate with market-leading capabilities, driving double-digit conversion gains for global merchants.

  • Partnered with Sierra and Meta on the Personal Agent Protocol to help shape the emerging standard for AI agents to interact with businesses.

  • Joined the European Central Bank’s digital euro pilot as an acquiring payment service provider, promoting a sustainable and low-complexity final design for merchants.

  • Announced the nomination of Niclas Neglen as CFO, effective February 1, 2027, subject to regulatory and shareholder approval.

Financial objectives

  • Net revenue growth: We expect 2026 net revenue growth of 21% to 23% YoY on a constant currency basis.

  • EBITDA margin: Strong merchant interest in Adyen's joint value proposition across payments, loyalty, billing, and financial products gives us the confidence to accelerate investments in our team, platform, and products to capture the large opportunity we see ahead. As a result, we now expect EBITDA margin of 50% in 2026. To retain flexibility, we are discontinuing our medium-term EBITDA objective. We remain confident in the inherent operating leverage of our business model over time.

  • Capital expenditures: We expect CapEx to be 7% of net revenue this year. We expect CapEx to return towards historical levels post-2026.

Adyen will provide 2027 financial objectives in February at the H2 2026 results.
