Secure in-person payments with PCI MPoC certified mobile solutions
NYC1 and Tap to Pay on Android are now PCI MPoC certified. This validates that our solution provides the strongest protection and the most secure way to pay without compromising on convenience.
November 2025
Certified for enhanced security
We’ve achieved PCI MPoC certification for our mobile in-person payment solutions: NYC1 Android and Tap to Pay on Android. This global standard strengthens data protection through encryption and security best practices, giving your customers confidence every time they pay.
What changes for your integration
If you're integrating with our Android SDK, you'll need to complete a vendor verification assessment to ensure compliance with PCI MPoC standards. If you’re using the Adyen Payments App, no action is needed.
Get started
Make sure your Android version is 12 or higher and Android SDK version is 2.9.0 or higher. If you're using the SDK, reach out to your Adyen contact to get a walk through of the vendor verification assessment process.
