A simpler checkout experience
When transacting with the NYC1, the PIN-on-glass feature lets customers securely enter their PINs on your mobile device. This makes in-person payments more compact, intuitive, and easier to scale across different locations. It's a fully PCI PTS 6.0 certified, card-scheme-compliant solution for Visa, Mastercard, and Amex.
Get started
To process PIN-on-glass transactions, update to the latest Mobile SDK and order NYC1 card readers through the Customer Area.
Security Requirements
Keep in mind that when using the NYC1 PIN-on-glass functionality, the SDK must be updated every six months. Expired SDKs will not support PIN entry, and devices will only support non-PIN transactions until updated. Rollout scope and region notes
NYC1s with PIN-on-glass are now available in the EU (excl. GR), UK, UAE, MY, HK, SG, AUS, NZ, MX. Read an overview of what we support for mobile payment solutions here.
