Audio guidance to support every shopper We've added a new audio accessibility feature to our Android payment terminals. This update helps visually impaired shoppers complete payments independently, using voice prompts and an accessible PIN interface. It supports key EU languages and helps you meet the requirements of the European Accessibility Act (EAA).
Built to be inclusive and compliant Available on all Adyen Android terminals from firmware 117+, this feature improves in-store accessibility and ensures your payments setup is ready for upcoming accessibility regulations.
How to enable it Upgrade your terminals to the required firmware and activate the feature by contacting Adyen Support. We recommend training store staff to support shoppers using this functionality. Visit Adyen Docs to learn more.
