Joep van Beurden reappointed as member of Adyen’s Supervisory Board

Adyen N.V. (“Adyen” or “Company”) [AMS: ADYEN], announces that its Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) approved the reappointment of Joep van Beurden as member of the Supervisory Board for a four-year term. Mr. Van Beurden joined the Supervisory Board in January 2017 and is chairman of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.

“Joep has been invaluable to Adyen during several phases of our growth. First as advisor and later as Supervisory Board member,” said Pieter van der Does. “He has worked at several tech companies throughout the world over the past few decades – his perspectives add a lot of value.”

Adyen also announces that it will seek a fifth Supervisory Board member. This fifth Supervisory Board member will be a woman, in adherence with the Company’s D&I policy and Dutch Parliament’s adoption of the SER’s guideline on Supervisory Board composition.

Adyen’s Supervisory Board currently consists of Piero Overmars, Delfin Rueda Arroyo, Joep van Beurden and Pamela Ann Joseph.
