Adyen Closes Talon. One and Orb Acquisitions; Announces Leadership Updates Across Product and Finance
AMSTERDAM, July 1, 2026 – Adyen N.V. (AMS: ADYEN) today announces the successful closing of its previously announced acquisitions of Talon. One, a leading platform for loyalty and incentives, and Orb, an enterprise billing platform.
Both transactions officially closed on July 1, 2026, following the satisfaction of all necessary regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.
With the closings complete, Adyen will begin integrating Talon. One’s promotional engine and Orb’s flexible billing. For details regarding the strategic rationale and original transaction terms, please refer to the initial Talon. One and Orb announcements.
Update on Product & Finance Leadership
Adyen today announces two leadership updates. As the company’s product portfolio continues to expand, Gayathri Rajan, currently Global Head of Product, will be appointed Chief Product Officer (CPO) effective immediately. Separately, following the previously announced departure of CFO Ethan Tandowsky on August 31, 2026, Hwa Tsao, currently Senior Vice President of Group Finance, will assume the role of full-time interim CFO effective September 1, 2026.
With Co-CEO Ingo Uytdehaage personally directing the integration phase for both Talon. One and Orb, these appointments ensure both the product and finance organizations retain dedicated leadership during a critical operational period. Rajan and Tsao will report directly to Adyen’s Co-CEOs and not be formally appointed as statutory members of the Management Board.
"Adyen has evolved into a comprehensive platform offering multiple, integrated solutions," said Ingo Uytdehaage, Co-CEO of Adyen. "Aligning our executive leadership with this multi-product reality is a natural step forward. Gayathri’s appointment to CPO recognizes her instrumental role in driving our product strategy and ambitions over the past three years, a momentum further amplified by the additions of Talon. One and Orb. Together with Hwa assuming the interim CFO responsibilities, we are well-positioned to maintain operational leadership and continuity across our core teams."
Rajan brings more than 25 years of product and technology leadership across fintech, enterprise platforms, and consumer tech, including previous roles at Google, DriveWealth, and Vanguard. In her current position as Global Head of Product, she oversees Adyen's core product management, design, and partnership initiatives.
Tsao brings more than 20 years of senior finance leadership experience across the technology and financial sectors, including previous leadership roles at ServiceNow, HP, and Citigroup. In his current position as SVP of Group Finance, he already oversees Adyen's core finance operations, ensuring organizational stability and continuity throughout this transition.
The Supervisory Board's global search process to appoint a permanent successor to Tandowsky is progressing as planned, supported by an external executive search firm.
Adyen confirms that there are no changes to standing financial objectives.
