Adyen (AMS:ADYEN), the payments platform of choice for many of the world’s leading companies, has today announced their partnership with Kinepolis. Kinepolis leverages the Adyen platform to embrace true unified commerce for its global network of cinemas.

Through their partnership, Kinepolis aims to consolidate their European payment systems into a single platform. With Adyen solutions, Kinepolis is able to lay a solid foundation of simplification and scalability for connecting shopper insights between their online and box-office sales.

“The technology Adyen provides is great for our customer experience,” said Bjorn Van Reet, Chief Innovation Officer at Kinepolis. “Payments should be stable, reliable and fast. Adyen is a very important piece in our customer journey. If everything is seamless, if you don’t notice it, then we’re doing a good job.”

Having expanded in existing and new markets, Kinepolis picked Adyen as their strategic payments partner. “We have a payments partner that is inspiring us to innovate,” said Van Reet.

“Adyen is excited to partner with Kinepolis who values the role of payments in creating trusted, seamless customer experiences and enhancing operational efficiencies,” said Julien Marlier, Country Manager for Adyen Belgium. “Our platform is built for growth, simplifying and accelerating payments globally for innovative companies like Kinepolis."
