Rupay

RuPay is India’s homegrown card payment network, developed by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) to provide a secure, low-cost and widely accessible alternative to international card schemes. It supports debit and credit for online, in-app, and in-store transactions. Businesses in India with a turnover exceeding ₹50 crore (~€5.5M) in the preceding financial year are required to accept RuPay debit cards.
