BankAxept
BankAxept is the Norwegian local card payment scheme and is the most widely accepted card for point of sale payments. Payments are approved in real time through the use of a chip and PIN, using contactless NFC technology or by mobile phone. The majority of BankAxept cards are co-branded. From these co-branded cards, almost all cards are co-branded with Visa and some with Mastercard. To process BankAxept payments, Adyen works with Nets, the company that operates the BankAxept scheme.
