Building a society where domestic abuse is no longer tolerated

Women's Aid is the national charity working to end violence against women and children. For almost 50 years, we have been at the forefront of shaping and coordinating responses to domestic abuse through practice, research and policy. Our aim is to empower and raise the status of women to a point where violence against women is no longer tolerated or legitimised. We are an organisation led by women, for women and seek to ensure that women’s voices are central to everything we do. Women’s Aid is a federation made up of over 170 organisations providing just under 300 local lifesaving services to vulnerable women and girls across the country.
