Core: Interest-Bearing Monthly Installments
Affirm’s Core financing program enables customers to make purchases aligned with their monthly budget through interest-bearing pay-over-time options ranging from 3 to 24 months. It supports both smaller and larger purchase amounts.
Standard: Pay in 4 and Interest-Bearing Monthly Installments
Affirm’s Standard financing program includes Pay in 4, which gives customers the option to split purchases into four interest-free, bi-weekly payments for smaller purchases. It also includes interest-bearing monthly installments ranging from 3 to 24 months, providing flexibility for larger cart sizes.
Signature: Pay in 4, Interest-Free for up to 6 Month Terms, and Interest-Bearing Installments
Affirm’s Signature financing program builds on Standard by adding more interest-free options, including 0% APR plans with up to 6-month terms in addition to Pay in 4 for smaller purchases. It also continues to offer interest-bearing monthly installment plans of up to 24 months for customers who prefer longer-term flexibility.
How it works

When making a purchase, the customer selects Affirm as their payment method. This triggers an Affirm pop-up explaining their payment options and benefits.
Customers get started by entering their phone number. A PIN is then sent via text message to either log into an existing Affirm account or create a new one.
If a Customer has already used Affirm, they'll instead provide their phone number.
Checking eligibility to pay with Affirm will not impact the customer’s credit If the customer is approved and decides to buy with Affirm, their loan and payments may affect their credit score
The customer will be redirected to the Affirm checkout flow in order to finalize their purchase. They can choose from various payment plans to find the most suitable one.
The customer reviews the lending disclosures to ensure transparency. Once they are satisfied, they can finalize the purchase.- After confirming their loan, the customer will be redirected to the checkout page for confirmation details. Affirm will communicate the loan terms, and the customer will make payments by downloading the Affirm app or by logging in online at affirm.com
