Adyen proposes to reappoint Joep van Beurden to the Supervisory Board
Joep van Beurden’s current appointment as member of the Supervisory Board is set to end on January 20th, 2020. The Company proposes to reappoint Joep van Beurden to his current position effective as of the ending of his current appointment outlined above, in accordance with Adyen’s Articles of Association. The reappointment will commence on January 20th, 2020, and will be for a period of four years.
About Joep van Beurden
Joep van Beurden (59) is CEO of Kendrion N.V., and has held a range of executive positions in the technology space over the past 20+ years.
Joep has served on the Supervisory Board of Adyen since its inception in 2017. Prior to this appointment, he has served as advisor to Adyen’s executive team since 2015. Joep currently chairs Adyen’s Nomination and Remuneration committee, and will continue to do so if reappointed.
Joep’s appointment is subject to approval from Adyen’s shareholders. An extra shareholders’ meeting will be held on Tuesday 14 January 2020, at 10.00 CET at the Hilton Double Tree Hotel, Oosterdoksstraat 4, (1011DK) Amsterdam.
