WorldPride: Leading the Evolution of Allyship

Thursday 6th August, 16:30 - 20:30

Leadership has the power to shape workplace culture and create lasting change. As WorldPride Amsterdam 2026 celebrates the theme of UNITY, Adyen is bringing together senior leaders from all industries for an evening to explore what meaningful allyship looks like today and where it needs to go next.

Allyship isn’t passive. It’s an active practice of using your platform to drive change and support marginalized groups. In the workplace, this means moving beyond intent to tangible action - whether that’s ensuring equal access to opportunities, advocating for inclusive global benefits or simply showing curiosity and listening. Join us at the iconic De Nieuwe Kerk for inspiring conversations, shared perspectives, and valuable networking as we exchange ideas across industries and define how senior leaders can drive lasting impact for LGBTQIA+ communities in the workplace.

This event is intended for senior leaders, as our discussions will focus on the role senior leadership plays in advancing allyship and driving meaningful change across organizations.

Event location

De Nieuwe Kerk, one of Amsterdam’s most iconic landmarks. Located right on Dam Square, the church sits at the absolute heart of the Dutch liberation movement, steps away from where early activists fought for the visibility we enjoy today. By bringing our community together here, we honor the legacy of those who paved the way and write the next chapter of our history.

The timing could not be more symbolic, as we gather during the church’s milestone exhibition "Queer Amsterdam, de roze stad" and celebrate exactly 25 years since the Netherlands made history as the first country to legalize same-sex marriage.
