Adyen, the payments technology company, announces that it has partnered with 10 airlines in three continents in 2015, and is now supporting payments for over 30 airlines worldwide. New airline customers this year include easyJet, Vueling, Alitalia and  TAP Portugal, in Europe, Volaris, Aeromexico and GOL in Latin America, and Cathay Pacific in Asia.

Adyen provides a unified, scalable payments solution through integrations for key booking and reservation platforms including Sabre, Amadeus and Navitaire, and delivers airlines with a fast time to market thanks to its easy integration. These are significant advantages in the industry due to high average transaction values and transaction volumes.

Furthermore, because Adyen supports over 250 payment methods worldwide, airlines are able to offer passengers the option to pay with the payment methods they know and trust, no matter where in the world they are located. This enables airlines to deliver a smoother payment experience to passengers, increase conversion at the checkout stage, and ultimately grow revenues.

"In Europe, customer payment preferences vary from country to country. Adyen provides a unique integration with key local payment methods, enabling us to expand across markets quickly and easily.” Javier Álvarez, IT Manager of Corporate Systems, Vueling

"We help airlines grow by offering their customers a frictionless  payment experience and optimized payment services based on the latest technology", said Roelant Prins, Chief Commercial Officer, Adyen. "We are delighted to be working with some of the most innovative airlines worldwide, and look forward to continuing this momentum into 2016."
