Adyen has applied for a US federal branch license with the Federal Reserve and the Comptroller of the Currency on June 24, 2019.
If granted, the US federal branch license will allow Adyen to further expand its payments-related product offering in the US and so better serve its merchants.
Adyen is currently in the possession of a pan-European banking license, which was granted in 2017.
