Sales Development Representative

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate to grow their sales career within the fastest growing digital payments company in the world.

Key responsibilities

Your primary responsibility will be to source outbound leads for the field sales team. 

You will start by researching prospects and identifying how best to attain interest from decision-makers across multiple industries and functions. You will use a variety of outreach channels including email, phone, social media and events.

It will be necessary to develop a fundamental understanding of Adyen’s offerings within the payments industry and successfully manage and overcome prospect objections.

You will be working closely with the marketing team in the ongoing optimisation of strategic sales campaigns and have access to tools in order to build and maintain accurate activity, contact, and account information of all customers and prospects.

Desired Skills & Experience
We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic self-starter with strong attention to detail. Someone who is looking to learn and grow their sales skills within a digital payments environment. 

  • Team player who possesses a desire and ability to work in an autonomous, innovative, high-growth sales environment
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills and a positive, energetic phone presence
  • Gets to grips with new technology quickly
  • Basic experience in prospecting is key
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
