Product Marketing Manager

The Product Marketing Manager is the critical facilitator of product knowledge within Adyen, ensuring product launches are executed successfully and product information is always up to date and ready for use by customer-facing teams. This role aligns go-to-market strategies and helps to define compelling features/benefits backed by competitive insights, customer centricity, and market trends. Responsibilities include being the marketing constituent for a product portfolio, generating and amplifying customer insights, and facilitating modern GTM tactics and strategies that drive results.   

The ideal candidate is customer-obsessed and able to work with cross-functional teams across multiple time zones, aligning global stakeholders towards customer needs, business objectives, and KPIs. This role requires being able to take complex ideas and concepts and help to distill them into simple, easy to understand frameworks.


 What you’ll do:

  • Partner closely with Product Management to understand the strategy and translate it into communication content, tools, demos and knowledge sharing programs
  • Work with key stakeholders to build impactful go-to-market approaches, customer research and market insights
  • Evaluate projects using relevant data measures in an effort to iterate, improve and build upon performance, while contributing to local and global KPIs
  • Communicate product news and updates across customer-facing teams while advocating for product knowledge and continuous learning
  • Help manage and coordinate global launch calendars, ensuring alignment with the product roadmap  
  • Hold global status meetings and meet with individual teams to provide status updates and to close any feedback loops


Who you are:

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B product or performance marketing required - payments, tech or SaaS experience is a plus
  • Strategic thinker, able to balance mid-term vision with short-term practical steps, tactics and goals
  • Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written
  • Proven experience in managing and executing global projects with clear tracking and performance measures
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to act decisively
  • Have a passion for investigating and solving customer problems (experience with customer centricity, voice of the customer methodologies, and market monitoring and is a plus)
  • Ability to grasp complex, technical subjects and make them easy to understand
  • Comfortable working across time zones
  • Experience with both technical and commercial product communications
  • A true team player, hands-on and self-motivated, able to stick to deadlines
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
