Product Marketing Manager

The Product Marketing Manager position is responsible for serving as the product expert supporting marketing, product, and sales. The ideal candidate is adept at translating product content into market and customer facing materials, requiring an ability to translate product attributes into benefits and key differentiators that fulfill genuine customer needs. You are experienced at working with cross-functional and cross-geo teams to provide a holistic view of customer needs and can ensure that go-to-market teams are always up to date with the latest product developments.

The position is based in San Francisco, but carries global product communication responsibilities for Adyen MarketPay, Tokenization and other North America-focused products.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and disseminate core product information materials including fact sheets, data sheets, partner sheets, demos, FAQs, etc.
  • Develop sales presentation content
  • Develop marketecture materials that enhance ability to communicate technical concepts
  • Develop and manage website product content
  • Support marketing and sales in the development of compelling product positioning, messaging, and product go-to-market campaigns
  • Know and understand how to position and differentiate products based on the needs of key verticals and competitive market conditions
  • Provide product insights that can inform customer facing campaigns executed by marketing
  • Develop tailored product content to support speaking engagements and media relationships
  • Create a competitive and market intelligence process, up-to-date knowledgebase, and global / local knowledge exchange system
  • Align sales and marketing teams to drive more efficient workflows and improved awareness and lead gen business results
  • Manage the global product roadmap calendar

Who you are

  • 5 years of experience in B2B product marketing (payments experience is a plus)
  • Proactive communicator with great follow through
  • Ability to connect customer needs with product capabilities
  • Ability to effectively operate at the intersection of marketing, sales, and products
  • Experience working with global teams
  • Ability to grasp complex technical subjects and make them easy to understand
  • Experience with both technical and commercial product communications
