Adyen is looking for an International HR Controller, and HR professional with a financial background. We have gone live with the core module of Workday in January 2017. The upgrade of our HR Information system necessitates in turn a different engagement between our HR Operations team and the business. We will continue to build out Workday in the next 1-2 years so that we have a complete end to end HRIS.
In this role you will be working as a part of the group finance team in the Netherlands, building a bridge between HR, Finance and the Business. You will spend your time providing HR Support in the areas of reporting and analyzing HR Data, supporting and controlling payroll closing and supporting pension and insurance administration. You’re the expert when it comes to strategic HR reporting and internal controls.
This is a position, which is full-time position based in our Headquarters in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
As an International HR Controller you will be part of the finance team, consisting of 9 colleagues who manage payroll for our offices in San Francisco, São Paulo, Singapore, London, Paris, Berlin, Stockholm, Madrid, and New York. You will be reporting to the Finance Manager, who is based in Amsterdam.
- Provide payroll related administrative support for multiple entities in the Netherlands with a focus on the payroll closing; identifies and communicates areas of improvement related to this area. Works closely with the HR Operations team.
- Ensure timely and accurate data entry, output and corrections of HR transactions. Identifies and communicates areas of improvement related to HR systems.
- Identify and communicates areas of improvement related to data management and processing and also to other process flows within its responsibility area.
- Provide support in pension and insurance administration.
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Accounting or Business Administration, preferable combined with HR experience.
Experience in working with (HR) data, reporting within an international corporate environment
Previous HR admin / processes experience is a must.
Strong analytic skills with the ability to translate HR data into useful management information.
Working proficiency with MS Office, specifically an Excel expert.
Experience with Workday desirable.
Planning and organizing skills.

Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication across different audiences.
