Winner of the Adyen Tech Globe Challenge 2014

Prize awarded to startup most likely to easily scale globally at TechCrunch Disrupt San Francisco.

Adyen is pleased to announce that the Adyen Tech Globe Challenge has been awarded to Nod Labs, a startup that has created wearable technology that transforms movements into commands, letting users control everything from a laptop or tablet to living room lights with a wave of a hand.

Adyen would like to congratulate the entire shortlist, including (in alphabetical order) Ansamb, Belleds Technologies, DoctorQuickly, Instapet, Sentri, Oscar Tech Overwatch, and Piggme. With over 50 entries, it was an extremely difficult task to narrow it down even to nine finalists.

“Our team at Nod Labs is incredibly honored and excited to be the recipient of the Adyen Tech Globe Challenge. Gestures are the universal language that unite us and the future of human-machine interaction. We can't wait for Nod's technology to cross borders and enable beautiful, touchless interaction in all corners of the globe,” said Anjali Gill of Nod Labs.
