Visa announces changes to the domestic interchange rates in Malta and Norway
Here is an overview of changes made by Visa in line with recent announcements from the Maltese and Norwegian Ministries of Finance.

The Maltese Ministry of Finance has announced changes to the Malta domestic consumer debit multilateral interchange fees.
The new multilateral interchange fees for domestic consumer debit transactions in Malta will be 0.15%, effective from 1 September 2016.

The Norwegian Ministry of Finance has announced the introduction of domestic regulation in line with European interchange regulation. Changes will affect the Norway domestic consumer debit and credit multilateral interchange fees.
The new multilateral interchange fees for the Norway domestic consumer debit and credit transactions will be 0.20% and 0.30% respectively, effective from 1 September 2016.
